"But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15

"But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15

There are many things a person can fill their lives and hearts with, many causes to follow, causes in which they will invest their hopes, time, energy and resources, and which they will encourage their family to follow.

Sadly, today, many of the causes being offered to young people, especially, turn out to be deceitful, damaging to self (mentally and physically), empty, dissatisfying, shallow, meaningless and ultimately completely futile.

There is one cause, however, which will still stand on your last day, and which offers God-planned and instigated earthly purpose, and eternal destiny.

Christians know, thanks to the grace of God and the witness of the Holy Spirit to our spirits, there is a cause so powerful, so life-changing, that it turns every earthly challenge into an opportunity for joy, purpose, and unbreakable hope.

That cause is: trusting and following Jesus Christ!

Imagine a life brimming with freedom, laughter, deep connections, and a sense of adventure that never fades. Jesus isn't just an historical figure or a set of rules; He's the living Savior who promises true abundance right here, right now, and for eternity.

To know Him, however, you need to read about Him, otherwise, you could easily be misled and completely waste your life. So, I encourage you to read the Bible every day. It doesn't have to be a lot, just a short devotion if that is all you can manage, but pray and read as your daily priority, to get the most out of each day.

As you dive into this exciting journey, inspired by timeless truths from the Bible and real-life wisdom for modern living, you'll see why following Jesus is the smartest, most exhilarating course for anyone craving a great life. Get ready to be uplifted—your best days are ahead!

If you do not know Christ, I urge you to investigate the greatest person in human history. Jesus has had more impact on the world than anyone else. He has changed millions of lives and saved more souls than we know.

The time-tested impact He has had bears much fruit, and all of it good, and has done so for over two thousand years. When compared to the fruit of all other religions combined, Jesus is the clear winner.

I personally bear witness to you of the power of Jesus to change lives and save souls, and of His complete sovereignty over all things in this life and for eternity.

So much so, that as a young man of 33, having experienced much of what the world offered and found it all a thin facade covering empty, dissatisfying, nothingness, I was then and am still, 28 years later, happy to testify that the missing ingredient making ALL the difference, in all things in this life and for eternity is Jesus Christ.

I am thankful to God that with Joshua, I too can gladly say, with trust in our covenantal God:

"But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
